Not Your Basic Blue Bag
The Not Your Basic Blue Bag Workshop is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to make a stylish, practical tote bag! Here's a quick summary of the workshop details:
Workshop Overview:
- Class Focus: Create a beautiful and practical tote bag in one of three sizes, all with a unique style.
- Duration: One-day class.
- Quilted Fabric: It's recommended that you arrive with your fabric pre-quilted. You can quilt it at home using straight lines on Soft & Stable, or have it quilted in a design of your choice on the longarm (additional longarm fee applies).
- Fabric Requirements: You will need to bring fabric according to the pattern size you choose.
Supply List:
- Not Your Basic Blue Bag Pattern – Each attendee needs their own copy.
- Fabric – Amount required depends on the size of the bag as specified in the pattern.
- Soft and Stable – Again, quantity based on the chosen size.
- Thread – For construction.
- Webbing or Leather Straps – To make the bag straps.
- Chicago Screws (for leather straps) – You'll need 16 screws in total.
Note: If you prefer, you can shop for fabric at least 2 weeks before the class and have it quilted on the longarm for a professional touch.
This sounds like an exciting project for anyone wanting to combine functional design with personalized style!
