One Block Wonder
The One Block Wonder quilt uses one fabric, and just one block to create one Wonderful quilt! Join us in learning how to turn a large print fabric into a one of a kind quilt.
Supply List:
Sewing Machine - in good working order and don't forget that foot pedal and power cord and 1/4" foot
60 degree ruler with pointed tips
24" ruler
Pins - flat head pins are preferred
Scissors
Rotary Cutter
Cutting Mat - 12" x 18" or larger - It's very helpful to have a small mat at your table to work from
Seam Ripper
Any other favorite notions
Fabric - Yardage of one fabric with 6 repeats. The smaller the repeat, the smaller the quilt, so if you choose a repeat of 12 inches or less you may want to double your yardage to make a larger quilt. We recommend larger scale prints with lots of color so that you have a lot of interesting blocks to work with.
Homework:
Prepare your fabric by spraying liberally with Magic Quilting & Crafting Spray (or your favorite starch) and then press until dry.
