Improv Table Runner

If you have a handful of small orphan blocks, or some large scale print you’d like to feature, an improv table runner is a creative way to showcase them. Stephanie Dodson will be teaching this technique with an end goal of adding improv or liberated piecing into your creative toolbox. In addition to the orphan blocks or print, please bring three other fabrics. At least two of those fabrics should be tonal rather than a print. If you prefer, this runner could be make using all tonal fabrics. Using shot cotton or linen along with quilting cotton can add some fabulous texture and is worth considering when making your fabric choices.
