Wonky Haunted House Wall Hanging
Stephanie Dodson will be leading us in a fun method for piecing a wonky house with spirit. This liberated house is funky, very customizable and is a great scrap buster. This is a technique-based class: there will be a guide to make the house; it is not a traditional, step-by-step pattern. Your house could be a fun table topper, seasonal wall hanging, or could be used as a center on a medallion quilt.
Supply list
- Sewing machine in good working condition. Knowledge of how to run the machine. If available, machine manual.
- Basic sewing tools (i.e., scissors, pins, fabric marker, rotary cutter, ruler, thread, pencil, paper, seam ripper, cutting mat, small iron with mat)
- 1/3 yard fabric for the house (or a variety of scraps in the same color palette)
- 3/4 yard fabric for the background (or a variety of scraps in the same color palette)
- Variety of scraps for the roof, gutters, door and windows (plaids, stripes, waves make super fun roofs; funky fabric for a door and chimney; mid-size novelty fabrics to fussy cut creatures or critters for the door and windows)
- Fat quarter or variety of green scraps for trees and grass
