Weekend Rag Quilt
Defying all laws of sewing, this comfy quilt is make with the seams exposed which are then "ragged" up to create a fabulous, cozy effect. This quilt is pure fun and is great for gifting because of how quickly it sews up. It uses a Quilt-as-you-go method and has no binding, so once your patchwork pieces are assembled, you're done!
Students can choose to make either a crib size (42" x 49") or throw size (56" x 63") quilt. During the first class, students will cut their fabrics and batting, then spend the remainder of the classes constructing the quilt, start to finish.
This class is suitable for confident beginners (anyone who has taken Sewing 101 or has similar beginner level experience. Students must be able to confidently operate their sewing machine independently.

Thread
Rotary Cutter and cutting mat
Acrylic ruler - we recommend a 6" x 12" ruler or larger
Seam Ripper
Marking Tool
Pins
Wonder Clips - optional
Spring-loaded scissors - optional, but highly recommended
Sewing Machine - in good working order and don't forget your foot pedal and power cord
