Finish Line: Garment Sewing Workshop

Have a project that just needs a little push to get across the finish line? This is the perfect place for you! We'll meet once a month, where everyone will work on their own projects—whether you're just starting or working on something advanced.
Our instructor, well-versed in garment making, will be there to guide you through any tricky steps and offer personalized assistance.
Feel free to bring a snack, your sewing machine, and any projects you're currently working on. And don't forget to bring along any project you've recently finished to share and inspire others!

| Instructor Bio: | Maya Jones is a seamstress and costume designer from Pittsburgh, PA. A recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, she has come to Kansas City to be the Fiber Artist in Resident at Englewood Arts. In her own work, she specializes in historically inspired gowns and undergarment and she is passionate about cultivating a community of confident apparel sewists ready to transform their closets. |
