Beginner Sashiko Class
Discover the beautiful art of Sashiko, a traditional Japanese decorative stitching technique, in this hand-on 4-hour beginner class.
No previous embroidery experience is required! You’ll learn the basics of Sashiko stitching, how to create even, consistent stitches, and how to work a simple traditional pattern. By the end of the class, you’ll have the skills and confidence to continue practicing Sashiko on your own.
Students will need to purchase and bring:
- Sashiko needles (2-3)
- Sashiko thread
- 1/4 yard of dark blue fabric
