Sewing 101

If you're interested in learning to sew, this is the class for you. We'll offer small group instruction to a max of 6 students per session, starting with the basics and graduating to increasing their sewing skills with each project. Students will work at their own pace to complete 3+ projects during the 6 week session. Classes meet for 2 hours per week. Each participant must have a sewing machine. We have a limited number of sewing machines available to rent during class sessions, so if you would like to rent one, please check with us for availability prior to registering. Projects include: Pillow or pillow case Zipper pouch Pajama pants or other entry level garment This class is best for ages 16 and above.

Serger Basics and Beyond

Do you own a serger or serger/coverstitch machine and are unsure how to really make use of it? Or have you considered buying a serger and want to "test drive" one first? Then this class is just what you're looking for. Mary will teach you the basics of using a serger, then will help you complete a small project on the serger. If you don't own your own, you're welcome to use one of Mary's during this class.

HandiQuilter Longarm Club

Meet up with fellow HandiQuilter owners for continued education and sharing of your longarm experience. We'll have a zoom lesson with a certified HandiQuilter educator OR a discussion and show and tell. Bring a recent finish with you to share with the group.
