Learn to use all the Creative Grids rulers in this workshop. Each month you'll learn a new ruler. Class signups are for 3 month segments and no rulers repeat for a year, so you can take each 3 month session for a year or just the segment you prefer. You'll make a block in class each month and can make more blocks to turn it into anything from a placemat to a table runner to a full quilt, just by making more of the same block. You can also save your blocks each month and put them all together at the end of the year to make a sampler quilt. Need time to work on your projects? Come hang out with us in The Studio at KC Maker and get those projects moving along. Quilters, Collagers, Slow Stitchers, Knitters and all other crafters are welcome! You can utilize the studios cutting tables, ironing stations and design walls to work on your projects. For even more fun, have your friends sign up to join you! Listen to music, chat with friends, share some snacks and make progress on your projects. We promise it will be a fun time! Sign up for consecutive days and leave your work area set up overnight.

Do you want to learn to stripology??? If so, come to this hand-on technical class with Patti Meiere as your GE Certified Stripology instructor. You will learn how to correctly use the rulers and how to save time using Stripology rulers for all your projects. We will also review a few of GE Design patterns and how it is so easy to make her wonderful quilts. You will be provided with practice fabric so you can build confidence before cutting into your own beloved fabric. If you don't have a ruler, that is okay. This would be a great class just to come and see how the ruler works. I can say that you will leave the class wanting to purchase the ruler.
